Josep Pou was born in Mallorca (Spain) in 1999 and had his first contact with music at the age of 3. In 2022, he completed his studies in Jazz and Modern Music at ESMUC (Escola de Música de Catalunya) with a specialization in piano, under the guidance of great national and international jazz figures such as Albert Bover, Joan Díaz, Lluís Vidal, and Gary Willis.
Nowadays, he works as a pianist, keyboardist, composer, and producer. His style is influenced by jazz, neosoul, r&b, funk, and other music of Afro-American origin, which, fused with flamenco and Latin music, result in his unique and personal sound. He has worked with artists such as Juanito Makandé, Jorge Pardo, Chambao, Rycardo Moreno, Alba Molina, Tomeu Penya, Carmen y María, La Plazuela, Víctor Franco, Toni Cuenca, Juan Medina, Miron Rafajlović, Shayan Fathi, Mindi Abair, Ella Crevani, among many others.
